Tokyo-based Metaplanet has introduced the addition of 330 BTC to its rising Bitcoin holdings. According to a post on X by Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich, the Japanese-based firm splurged $28.2 million on the acquisition.
Gerovich’s announcement reveals that Metaplanet spent a mean of $85,605 for every BTC in its newest acquisition. At the second, Metaplanet’s complete BTC holding stands at a powerful 4,855 BTC valued at almost $500 million.
