The parents of former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried are seeking to get their son a presidential pardon from Donald Trump.
Stanford regulation professors Joseph Bankman and Barbara Fried have reportedly met with attorneys and members of Trump’s administration. According to Bloomberg, the pair hopes to obtain clemency for his or her son, who’s serving a 25-year jail sentence.
Bankman-Fried was sentenced last March after being discovered guilt of fraud. The platform filed for chapter in 2022.
Pardoning Ulbricht
